How much does notapipe.net cost? can I use it for free?notapipe.net has a free plan,a basic plan and a premium plan. Basic plan has a price of 9.90$ per month. Premium plan has a price of 19.90$ per month. You can use free plan as long as you like, You can upgrade your plan to a basic plan any time.
What's the difference between free plan and basic plan and premium plan?Free plan is limited to 3 concurrent editors per document and works on an unsecured connection. Free plan has 2 advertisement boxes in the editor window. Basic plan has upto 6 concurrent editors per document, and works on an unsecured connection. Premium plan has upto 9 concurrent editors per document, and works on a ssl enabled connection.
What about privacy? Do you read our documents?We do not read your documents, see privacy policy for more details.
What web browsers are compatible with notapipe.net?notapipe.net was tested on Firefox 3.5 or later, Internet Explorer 8 or later, Opera 10 , Other browsers may or may not work.
Is notapipe.net secure?Free and Basic plan does not include ssl connection, but Premium plan does.
Can we install notapipe.net on our own server?No, notapipe.net is only available on our servers, as a hosted service.
Users
What's the difference between an administrator users and normal users?Administrator users can create, delete, modify any user profile. Normal users can change password or email of their own profile. All users of a group can access documents and revisions with the same permissions.
How do I delete an user?Login with an administrator account, click on View->Preferences menu, click on Users on Toolbar, click on X in the row of the user you want to delete.
How do I invite a new user?Login with an administrator account, click on users in top right corner, Login with an administrator account, click on View->Preferences menu, click on Users on Toolbar, compile fields at the bottom of the window, then click on "invite user" button.

Are our documents private?Yes, to access a document you have to login first.
Are revisions of our documents private?It depends, if at creation time the box "public tag" in "Revisions" menu is checked, the made revision is public, private otherwise. Any revision is referred by an url in the form
http[s]://<group name>.notapipe.net/<doc name>?ver=<tag>
If the revision is private you have to be logged in to access the file, otherwise anyone can access it. 'latest' is a special revision, it refers to the latest document version, and is public if the document itself is public.
Are Documents and Revisions secure?Premium plan includes ssl encryption of all communications. Documents and private revisions are protected anyway by username and password.
How do I delete a file?You cannot delete a file. Once created it lives forever. But you can delete its content.
